Bringing in 2012 is very exciting for all and no more so than the women of this contingent who have, with great anticipation, been awaiting the turn of the clock for their appointment at the Sandalwood factory as their Gong, Cone and Bowl therapy awaits. While Linda and the other women soaked in the holistic benefits of sandalwood oils and Gong therapy in their teepee Cone, (still unclear what the Bowl represented!), the remaining members of the families went for a new years fish at Salmon Holes. Timna decided for this experience she would become the photographer and so we guess it is only fit that she shares with you her story.
Once we arrived at Salmon Holes to do some fishing, Andy and Ethan help set up their rods. Everybody is so excited to start fishing.
While Benji was having a look around the beach, he came across this wine bottle with barnacles attached to it. Dad's first words were "If we run out of bait, we can use that." Well done Benji!
Fishing is not the only thing that keeps us occupied. The boys are having fun climbing up the rocks.
A Flat-head to finish off the day. A bit undersized but well Done Dad! Also congrats to Ethan for catching a fish as well!
Thank you for looking at my second blog page. Hope you liked the pictures!

Hello again from us adults. We needed to add one more thing in lest we forget. While on our travels we received an sms from a guy Linda went to school with. He wanted to let us know that he and his fiancee were also travelling around Oz. The power of telecommunication is mind boggling. We stayed in touch but our travels, although in the same direction, never quite connected. Our last communication held a little hope, they would be passing through Albany while we were still there, and that they did. They arrived to visit this afternoon. It was so cool catching up and sharing stories with them and equally as nice sitting around with people that you share some history with. Our only minor regret was not taking the truly predictable photo of little Boaz and Big Boaz. Boaz and Deb, thanks for making the effort of finding us, it was so awesome catching up while on adventures. We wish you guys only the best for your wedding and the rest of your adventure that awaits. We look forward to being able to read all about it!!!!
We said farewell to them and also to part of our Albany crew. Doug, Heather, Mark, Kelly and the boys, it was great to meet and share this part of the trip with you. We have appreciated all the words of wisdom and especially your patience in listening to ours!!!! When looking back we cannot believe how much we managed to fit into our time here. Doug, we have booked into the WOW tour in Walpole and we will remember that the Duke of Orleans Bay is worth a visit! It is an early night as we are off to Pemberton tomorrow with the Goddens, but first we have a 10am cruise in Walpole. Morning departure 7.30am to ensure no stresses, which all sounds easy except we have a van to pack as well. Aaaggh!!!
Great blog Timnah! A bit worried about your Mum with gongs and bowls...did they put the bowl on her head and then 'gong' it? Hope the smell of sandalwood isn't too overpowering for the van! And Boaz - Elana will be so proud of you reading Harry Potter!
